We had two days of orientation at our univ. Yesterday and today. Enough of speeches and lectures. Informative, yet too boring.
On the other hand, I’ve liked the life here at Kingsville. Its quite, peaceful, without the slightest hint of pollution. You might not even get to count the number of vehicles on the road, coz there are almost none at all times of the day. Its such a difference from the congestion, pollution, and noise at Hyderabad. Its a welcome change, though I’m really not sure how many days I’d be happy here. It might bet boring sometime soon though.
One more thing, I ordered for my Dell Inspiron laptop today. A whopping 1069$ lappy with all the features I ever needed. 2GB Laptop, 160GB HDD, DVD Writer, 1.8GHZ Proc., Bluetooth, Glossy LCD screen and much more. I’m really excited about it. Dell says I should get it by the 5th of September. I’d love it if I could get it by the 3rd of september, for my birthday though.
